Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
  • Proven experience in the health insurance industry.
  • Extensive experience with insurance claims processes.
  • Degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
  • Proficiency in business analysis concepts including requirements definition, technical translation, and Agile prioritization.
  • Strong skills in facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Insurtech experience is preferred.
  • Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is a plus.
  • Technical writing skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop appropriate analytical solutions.
  • Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
  • Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements and processes using techniques like interviews and work sessions.
  • Develop business requirements documents and user stories to support required modifications.
  • Create complex test case scenarios and oversee testing to verify client requirements are met.
  • Support QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis and change maintenance.
  • Assist in providing project time estimates and maintaining process documentation.
