Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production web applications.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
- Hands-on experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis in production environments.
- Working knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures and concurrency.
- Proficiency in SQL and system design.
- Strong written communication skills with experience working asynchronously.
- Self-directed work style with a focus on follow-through.
- Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) or django-ninja is a plus.
- Experience with Postgres tuning and query analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS is a plus.
- Knowledge of HTMX or React is a plus.
- Experience with AI coding assistants.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy new features for consumer and B2B API platforms.
- Optimize performance and reliability within Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines.
- Integrate third-party services such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO.
- Conduct and participate in peer code reviews within the engineering team.
- Manage features end-to-end from architecture to production monitoring and maintenance.
