Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and data backup procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist users with varying technical expertise.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to company employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
  • Manage and monitor company IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and workstations.
  • Assist in maintaining data security and backup systems to protect company information.
  • Document internal procedures, prepare user guides, and train employees on new technologies.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Respond promptly to support requests and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
