Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in benefits administration, HR operations, leave administration, or compliance.
  • Experience administering benefits programs in the U.S. and Canada, ideally within a multi-national organization.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian benefits practices and employment regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA).
  • Proven experience managing annual Open Enrollment processes.
  • Experience managing 401(k) and retirement plans.
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms, specifically ADP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end administration of health, welfare, and retirement programs, including plan management and renewals.
  • Manage and execute the annual Open Enrollment process, including system setup and employee education.
  • Administer 401(k) and retirement programs, including enrollments, contributions, and audit support.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and COBRA.
  • Oversee leave administration programs to ensure compliance and positive employee experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Support HRIS-related initiatives and system integrations, specifically with ADP.
  • Conduct compliance audits and manage regulatory filings and documentation.
