Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of progressive engineering experience within the power generation industry.
- Significant experience with reciprocating engine and/or gas turbine power plant projects.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, and I&C disciplines.
- Experience managing multiple large-scale projects through development, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Strong familiarity with major OEM platforms such as Caterpillar, Wärtsilä, GE, and Jenbacher/INNIO.
- Working knowledge of industry codes and standards including NFPA, IEEE, ASME, and API.
- Experience leading or overseeing HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow studies.
- Experience managing technical interfaces with EPC/EPCM contractors, OEMs, and independent engineers.
- Master's degree or advanced technical qualification is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute engineering strategy for reciprocating engine and gas turbine-based power projects.
- Establish engineering governance frameworks, standards, and calculation methodologies.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams including mechanical, electrical, civil, and I&C disciplines.
- Oversee engineering execution across concurrent projects from development through commissioning.
- Coordinate interfaces between EPC/EPCM contractors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead technical due diligence and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards like NFPA, IEEE, and ASME.
- Champion digital engineering initiatives and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity.
