Requirements
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in a quota-carrying role.
- Experience selling into healthcare settings such as academic medical centers, hospitals, health systems, or reference laboratories.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a consultative environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and standard business productivity tools.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in genetics, genomics, clinical laboratory, or life sciences sales preferred.
- Familiarity with SaaS or data solutions in a healthcare context preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within strategic accounts.
- Develop and implement account strategies and sales plans to meet or exceed quota targets.
- Establish relationships with key client decision-makers to understand business goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and scope solutions for prospects.
- Manage activity, planning, and forecasting of qualified opportunities through to closure.
- Deliver presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Represent the company at industry meetings and conferences.
