Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in a quota-carrying role.
  • Experience selling into healthcare settings such as academic medical centers, hospitals, health systems, or reference laboratories.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a consultative environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and standard business productivity tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in genetics, genomics, clinical laboratory, or life sciences sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with SaaS or data solutions in a healthcare context preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within strategic accounts.
  • Develop and implement account strategies and sales plans to meet or exceed quota targets.
  • Establish relationships with key client decision-makers to understand business goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and scope solutions for prospects.
  • Manage activity, planning, and forecasting of qualified opportunities through to closure.
  • Deliver presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry meetings and conferences.
