Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience with a track record of driving sustained growth.
  • Experience working in edtech, hardware, or a not-for-profit or social enterprise setting.
  • Ability to operate commercially within a mission-led, impact-focused organization.
  • Demonstrable commitment to the Foundation's mission and values.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and proven ability to build coalitions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Experience building and leading diverse, remote teams.
  • Track record of working collaboratively across functions to achieve shared goals.
  • Experience leading international commercial initiatives with strong cultural awareness.
  • Experience working within a small, scaling, or start-up organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Foundation's commercial strategy aligned with the organizational mission.
  • Drive growth in commercial revenue and provide accountability for performance against targets.
  • Maximize relationships with global manufacturers and distributors to activate the sales network.
  • Grow existing routes to market, including the Channel Partner programme, and identify new channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with partnerships and marketing teams to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure supply chain resilience by working with global manufacturing partners.
  • Lead product compliance strategy in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Contribute to overall strategic direction, culture, and values as part of the senior leadership team.
