Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience.
- Strong diagnostic skills to properly test software and measure product quality.
- Technical background to create testing scenarios from functional requirements and specifications.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and writing SQL queries.
- Experience with QA testing on ERP type applications/systems.
- Understanding of administrative software for higher education is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Develop testing plans and scenarios in accordance with functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and/or automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- Perform regular regression, exploratory, and system testing.
- Monitor and maintain bug backlogs for accuracy.
