Requirements
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Sumo Logic, Azure Monitor, or OpsGenie.
- Ability to read and follow automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or equivalent.
- Understanding of system architecture including application, database, and network interaction.
- Experience with web services and APIs for diagnosing performance and availability issues.
- Familiarity with Jira and Jira Service Management for workflow and ticket tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident documentation and stakeholder reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams with shared ownership.
Responsibilities
- Own incident detection and first response for availability, performance, and health alerts across APIs, sites, and platform services.
- Investigate degradations and outages to identify scope and provide accurate information for resolution.
- Document incidents, produce post-incident summaries, and conduct root cause analyses (RCAs).
- Create, tune, and maintain alerts and synthetic probes for production and pre-production environments.
- Develop dashboards for internal teams and Strategic Account Management to track platform health.
- Develop and maintain automation runbooks to reduce manual toil and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Produce monthly operational reports, track KPIs, SLA metrics, and manage SOC 2 compliance evidence.
- Map dependencies for new systems and proactively identify risks in the technology stack.
