Requirements

  • Understanding of Git and typical branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and development pipelines.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
  • Prior experience in Customer Success or equivalent history of increasing satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience partnering with customers to define and achieve business outcomes.
  • Familiarity working with customers of sizes relevant to the assigned segment.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Strong technical, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Fluent German.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to turn pre-sales objectives into actionable business outcomes.
  • Guide customers on GitLab platform best practices and future adoption paths.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Support, Product Management, and Professional Services.
  • Manage a book of assigned customers to ensure retention, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Stay current on all GitLab releases and updates.
