Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of related work experience, including 5+ years in systems architecture or systems engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- Expertise in architecting complex software systems and decomposing complex problems.
- Proficiency in Golang, C++, or Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes and on-premises software deployments.
- Strong background in software APIs, system integrations, and Data Models.
- Familiarity with Agile development, enterprise design patterns, and coding standards.
- Experience with the full software engineering life cycle and toolchains like JIRA and Git.
- Proficiency in Systems Engineering practices for documenting architectures and requirements.
- Experience developing Concepts of Operations and derived engineering requirements.
- Ability to represent engineering concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the productized software architecture for the ground segment for customer satellite missions and programs.
- Architect, design, and manage software requirements and design for As-Is and Target architectures.
- Distill unified requirements and system design across disparate customers, programs, and product roadmap.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering specifications.
- Coordinate development across software teams, systems engineering, and product teams to ensure effective capability integration.
- Develop models and analyze data to evaluate tradeoffs and support the decision-making process.
