Requirements
- 3+ years leading senior, autonomous engineering teams.
- Proven track record of building frameworks, shared platforms, or cross-team services.
- Strong influencing skills to encourage adoption of centralized frameworks.
- Experience aligning platform timelines with product roadmaps.
- Technical fluency in platform, product infrastructure, or distributed systems contexts.
- Ability to interpret team delivery and health metrics.
- Experience translating high-level company OKRs/KPIs into strategy.
- Experience building collaborative, high-performing teams in a fully remote or highly asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with EMs across Virta to proactively solve their delivery friction, establish structured feedback loops with product teams, and align on win-win adoption strategies.
- Drive continuous process optimization with a specific focus on AI-native development.
- Partner with the team to safely experiment with agentic coding tools to improve cycle times.
- Own the technical strategic vision for Virta’s core platform capabilities and ensure architecture scales.
- Lead and support a senior-leaning, autonomous squad, fostering a high-ownership environment.
- Focus on senior talent development, creating growth paths for engineers to advance toward Staff/Principal levels.
