Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end Software Asset Management (SAM) activities by tracking software usage, maintaining licensing records, and ensuring compliance with internal and vendor requirements.
  • Administer and update the SAM tool and licensing database, ensuring accurate documentation of entitlements, contracts, and usage data.
  • Analyze software requests and approvals, validating availability, compliance, and alignment with organizational licensing policies.
  • Monitor software installations, subscriptions, and usage patterns to identify compliance risks and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with global IT and business teams to ensure adherence to software licensing standards and support audits or compliance reviews.
  • Assist in generating dashboards, reports, and compliance metrics for stakeholders across regions.
  • Support software optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities for cost reduction, license rationalization, and process improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SAM processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
