Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT, technical consulting, or solution architecture roles.
- Strong background in presales engineering or customer-facing solution architecture within complex environments.
- Experience designing large-scale IT solutions across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, storage, networking, and compute systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI, cloud platforms, virtualization, and modern data center technologies.
- Ability to translate technical architectures into compelling business and mission outcomes.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and federal government decision makers.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and whiteboarding skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and solution delivery methodologies.
- Preferred certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Architect certifications.
- Strong collaboration skills across sales, engineering, and partner ecosystems.
- Ability to operate in highly regulated, mission-critical federal environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with federal customers to understand mission requirements, current environments, and transformation goals.
- Design end-to-end enterprise IT solutions across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, data center, networking, storage, and software ecosystems.
- Translate complex technical architectures into clear business value propositions for executive and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to shape deal strategy, account planning, and opportunity development.
- Develop high-level solution architectures aligned with customer objectives, including integration of third-party technologies where required.
- Deliver technical presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and product demonstrations to support solution validation and deal progression.
- Provide guidance on system configuration, workload optimization, and architectural best practices for large-scale federal environments.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts through deep understanding of customer infrastructure and industry trends.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, providing feedback on requirements, gaps, and emerging needs.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic positioning.
- Mentor internal teams and partners on technical strategy, solution design, and presales best practices.
