Requirements
- 7+ years of brokerage or trading operations experience (fintech or broker-dealer preferred).
- Active FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63, and 24 (required).
- Experience as a supervisory principal with direct ownership of brokerage operations.
- Experience operating in a follow-the-sun or global operations model.
- Experience building processes and automations with AI tools.
- Deep knowledge of the trade lifecycle from execution to settlement and reconciliation.
- Expertise in corporate actions, ACATS, and money movement.
- Strong understanding of SEC/FINRA regulations and operational risk controls.
- Proven ability to manage incidents, escalations, and customer-impacting issues in a high-volume environment.
- Strong systems thinking skills with a track record of building scalable processes.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate day-to-day brokerage operations for OnePay Invest and Crypto, ensuring compliant execution across the trade and asset lifecycle.
- Supervise brokerage operations as a designated principal (Series 24), maintaining adherence to SEC/FINRA regulations, WSPs, and internal controls.
- Act as the primary US-based escalation point for trade breaks, incidents, and operational issues.
- Partner with the India-based Brokerage Operations Lead to provide continuous operational coverage and ensure regional consistency.
- Manage core functions including trade corrections, settlements, reconciliations, money movement, and ACATS.
- Oversee corporate actions and asset servicing for dividends, splits, and trade-related events.
- Build error management frameworks and optimize workflows using AI automation tools.
