Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or relevant field.
- Active license in good standing (LPC Counseling Compact).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in delivering CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
- Experience teaching relaxation strategies that impact the brain-gut connection.
- Ability to communicate effectively with care providers such as MDs and nurse practitioners.
- Competency in using administrative technologies like Zoom, Slack, and Google Drive.
- Experience in electronic health record charting.
- Experience delivering care on telehealth platforms preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs and dietitians in a digital integrated healthcare environment.
- Utilize evidence-based clinical interventions such as CBT, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and design client-specific goals for GI conditions.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with clinical protocols.
- Participate in professional training and clinical coordination meetings.
- Contribute to the development of psychological best practices within the team.
