Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across OpenRouter's API, spanning multiple LLM providers
  • Reproduce bugs in ambiguous environments using tools like curl, Postman, and small test apps
  • Read and interpret logs, headers, and request traces to identify root causes
  • Turn 'it doesn't work' into actionable findings, hypotheses, and verified fixes
  • Respond to developer inquiries across support channels with clarity and technical precision
  • Identify patterns in support requests and advocate for documentation or API improvements
  • Develop deep expertise in OpenRouter's routing, fallback, rate limiting, and billing systems
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface systemic issues and inform roadmap priorities
