Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfortable navigating large codebases and performing code reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to support the development lifecycle.
- Articulate technical constraints and partner on decisions considering risks and trade-offs.
- Monitor system metrics and escalate issues as needed.
- Support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts.
- Participate in interview processes and contribute to team community.
