Requirements
- Excellent written and oral English language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience building and shipping software against Shopify APIs (GraphQL) in a commercial setting.
- Proven track record building and deploying public apps on the Shopify App Store.
- Deep proficiency in the modern JavaScript ecosystem: TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Production experience with React, Svelte, and Shopify Polaris.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics data flows between ERPs, WMS, and storefronts.
- Direct hands-on experience integrating with WMS platforms like Mintsoft or PeopleVox.
- Familiarity with international trade logistics, customs, and DDU/DDP shipping models.
- Ability to work UK working hours (09:00 to 17:30 GMT/BST).
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of major product features from design to deployment.
- Research and implement AI features like predictive shipping and LLM integrations.
- Architect and deploy production-ready backend services and frontend experiences.
- Utilize AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate development and testing workflows.
- Manage the full lifecycle of public Shopify Apps using App Bridge and OAuth.
- Build and optimize integrations for global carriers and 3PL platforms like Mintsoft.
- Maintain high-throughput systems on AWS serverless infrastructure.
