Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in energy markets or portfolio risk management.
- Deep understanding of Iberian and European gas markets (MIBGAS, TTF, LNG).
- Strong analytical skills regarding price drivers, consumption data, and risk metrics.
- Experience in forecasting, time-series analysis, and portfolio modeling.
- Advanced programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or R.
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish.
- Fluent, working-level English.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust gas portfolio positions (PVB, TVB, AVB) including Mark-to-Market, P&L, and hedge coverage.
- Develop and validate short-, medium-, and long-term gas consumption forecasts incorporating seasonality and weather.
- Track and analyze gas market fundamentals such as LNG flows, storage levels, and forward curves.
- Support gas tariff pricing and translate market assumptions into retail offers.
- Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Commercial teams on forecasts and budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement through tool development and data automation.
- Maintain knowledge of Spanish and European gas regulation and reporting obligations.
