Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in complex sales and/or fundraising roles.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing end-to-end cross-functional projects.
  • Experience engaging directly with donors as relationship or project managers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Commitment to execution excellence and follow-through.
  • Ability to travel 3-4 times per year for retreats or donor visits.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively surface, evaluate, and shape a pipeline of high-upside “big bet” opportunities.
  • Transform ambiguous ideas into actionable strategies with clear metrics and resource requirements.
  • Serve as the single accountable owner for priority opportunities.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional work across Product, Programs, Research, and Finance.
  • Distill complex information into persuasive messaging for internal and external audiences.
  • Lead high-stakes engagement with major philanthropies and foundations.
  • Cultivate new relationships with prospective funders.
  • Create tailored engagement strategies, pitch materials, and meeting plans.
  • Partner with senior leadership for critical negotiations and decision points.
