Requirements
- 7+ years experience in complex sales and/or fundraising roles.
- Demonstrated track record of managing end-to-end cross-functional projects.
- Experience engaging directly with donors as relationship or project managers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Commitment to execution excellence and follow-through.
- Ability to travel 3-4 times per year for retreats or donor visits.
Responsibilities
- Proactively surface, evaluate, and shape a pipeline of high-upside “big bet” opportunities.
- Transform ambiguous ideas into actionable strategies with clear metrics and resource requirements.
- Serve as the single accountable owner for priority opportunities.
- Orchestrate cross-functional work across Product, Programs, Research, and Finance.
- Distill complex information into persuasive messaging for internal and external audiences.
- Lead high-stakes engagement with major philanthropies and foundations.
- Cultivate new relationships with prospective funders.
- Create tailored engagement strategies, pitch materials, and meeting plans.
- Partner with senior leadership for critical negotiations and decision points.
