Requirements
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing careers within the data field for at least 4 to 5 years.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts (regression, classification, clustering, neural networks, cross-validation, model explainability).
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, experimental design, optimization, and causal inference for A/B testing.
- Solid understanding of engineering challenges for deploying and maintaining ML systems in production.
- Proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Act as a technical reference for the team, architecting, developing, and deploying machine learning systems to production.
- Discuss business requirements with Product Managers and senior leaders to align data strategy with business goals.
- Guide the team in designing and executing experiments and robust analysis to improve models.
- Recruit and mentor talent, providing regular performance feedback and development.
- Set clear team goals aligned with business objectives.
- Advocate for the value of data and AI to foster a data-driven culture.
