Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure.
- Strong cloud platform experience across AWS and/or Azure.
- Proven hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience delivering projects for external or internal clients in a consulting environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Active daily use of AI coding tools.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end operational delivery for cloud-native data platform environments (AWS, Azure) across multiple managed services clients.
- Translate business and technical requirements into resilient, cost-effective platform solutions.
- Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and support production data jobs and pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership during troubleshooting sessions and platform deployments.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in cloud engineering.
- Help define and refine Elastic Operations standards and delivery frameworks.
