Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of direct fraud experience.
- Specific exposure to cryptocurrency investigations, crypto compliance, or digital asset security.
- Hands-on experience using Chainalysis or similar blockchain tracing tools.
- Understanding of common crypto fraud typologies such as pig butchering, phishing, and rug pulls.
- Ability to collect and analyze off-chain and on-chain datasets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Investigate suspected crypto scams, wallet compromises, and unauthorized withdrawals.
- Use blockchain forensic tools like Chainalysis to trace funds and map wallet clusters.
- Lock down compromised accounts and halt suspicious outgoing transfers.
- Communicate empathetically and clearly with victims of crypto scams.
- Manage multiple concurrent on-chain investigations while meeting case-closure SLAs.
- Participate in weekly calibration sessions to share findings and identify scam typologies.
