Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience with deep expertise in large-scale recommendation systems.
- Proven ability to identify key opportunities, define roadmaps and drive scalable improvement.
- Strong experience in building and deploying large-scale ML models using PyTorch or Tensorflow.
- Experience working with LLM in production.
- Experience utilizing generative AI to augment recommendation systems.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, Golang).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to advancing Reddit's growth by designing and implementing content discovery algorithms.
- Drive the vision for the notifications relevance team.
- Enhance core recommendation capabilities, including candidate retrieval, ranking models, and budgeting optimization.
- Deploy ML models, integrate LLMs, and ensure robust monitoring.
- Serve as the primary ML domain expert, driving architectural decisions.
- Collaborate across disciplines with ML, Product, Infrastructure, and DS teams.
