Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7+ years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong expertise in RHEL Linux administration.
- Experience supporting large-scale environments (hundreds to thousands of hosts).
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Proxmox.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of enterprise security (IAM, authentication, SSH, certificates, encryption, CIS, SOX, PCI).
- Experience supporting application stacks (Apache, Tomcat, messaging systems, Spring Boot, proxies).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Leadership mindset with mentoring experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise-grade Linux (RHEL) systems.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues.
- Support infrastructure reliability and compliance initiatives.
- Participate in application and infrastructure design reviews.
- Develop and maintain automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Support containerized and virtualized environments (Kubernetes, Proxmox, Cloud).
- Collaborate with DevOps/engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
- Provide technical leadership for infrastructure initiatives.
- Mentor junior systems engineers and document best practices.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security.
