Requirements
- Extensive experience with animation systems in Unreal Engine
- Strong understanding of game animation fundamentals (blending, layering, state machines, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of Maya animation pipelines in production environments
- Strong foundation in animation principles and character motion quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Create and implement high-quality production animation directly into a real-time game engine
- Collaborate with Animation, Design, and Engineering teams to build and integrate animation systems
- Develop and maintain systems such as blending, layering, and state machines for character motion
- Support animation teams by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production
- Continuously improve animation workflows, pipelines, and overall production efficiency
- Partner with engineers to ensure animations meet performance and memory constraints
- Work with technical artists to design and improve animation tools and pipelines
