Requirements
- Engineering background with experience shipping and operating production systems.
- Demonstrable GTM engineering experience building systems for revenue teams.
- Proficiency in sequencing and scripting AI-led tooling such as Metaflow, Clay, Customer.io, or reo.dev.
- Strong sales and marketing fluency including understanding modern demand capture and sales processes.
- Experience building and scaling agentic workflows.
- Systems thinking skills to design simple, reliable solutions for complex cross-functional processes.
- Commercial judgment with a focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent written communication skills for technical and systems documentation.
- Comfort working asynchronously in a high-trust, end-to-end ownership model.
- Experience with SQL, TypeScript, or Python for integrations and workflow automation.
Responsibilities
- Map Buildkite’s GTM and brand experience end-to-end.
- Build a signal taxonomy across the full customer journey and define actionable signals.
- Establish a clean, enforceable data foundation and develop a coherent operating system.
- Design and implement agentic workflows that accelerate human work.
- Devise and ship 'stage plays' across all stages of the customer journey.
- Partner with Sales and Brand teams to diagnose funnel friction and implement fixes.
- Document decisions, risks, and tradeoffs with engineering precision.
