Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field
- At least four years of relevant facilities or construction project management experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated capability in risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and project monitoring
- Proficiency with construction and project management tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of complex renovation, remodeling, and new construction projects from initiation through design, execution, and closeout
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and campus stakeholders to define scope, budgets, design criteria, schedules, and execution plans
- Manage project risks proactively, addressing issues that may impact timelines, costs, or quality outcomes
- Oversee compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare estimates, specifications, drawings, bid documentation, and procurement materials
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, schedules, and documentation
- Conduct site inspections, review contractor submissions, and lead meetings
- Approve change orders, authorize payments, and ensure successful project commissioning and closeout
