Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design and/or design-build project delivery.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
  • Strong experience in roadway and/or bridge design within large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-value transportation projects.
  • Experience in design-build delivery models, including both pursuit and execution phases.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to contribute to proposals, strategy, and project positioning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required and work effectively in remote and hybrid settings.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, execution-oriented leadership style.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management and delivery of large-scale design-build transportation projects, including roadway and bridge programs exceeding $1B in value.
  • Lead or assist in developing project pursuit strategies, including scope definition, commercial positioning, and proposal development activities.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure alignment across design, construction, scheduling, and delivery requirements.
  • Oversee scope management and contribute to project execution planning to ensure cost, quality, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to foster collaboration and resolve project challenges.
  • Support field execution and ensure design intent is effectively translated into construction delivery.
  • Contribute to risk management, performance tracking, and commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
