Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience managing high-voltage substation and transmission line projects up to 500kV.
- Direct experience working with utilities on interconnection, regulatory, and technical matters.
- Strong understanding of utility-scale transmission infrastructure and EPC contracting models.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and interconnection processes.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of substation and transmission projects up to 500kV.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with utility and EPC timelines.
- Serve as a primary interface with utilities to ensure compliance with grid operator standards.
- Oversee three-way coordination between internal teams, utilities, and EPC contractors.
- Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure construction meets technical specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive progress and risk reports for stakeholders.
