Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in game design, educational technology, interactive media, or illustration.
- Portfolio of shipped or production-ready work.
- Experience creating art for online interactive games, simulations, or e-learning.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Ability to develop production-ready concepts and asset libraries.
- Strong eye for visual consistency, readability, and hierarchy.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, cross-functional, iterative environment.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling.
- Online portfolio required.
Responsibilities
- Translate educational curriculum into playable game mechanics and risk/reward systems.
- Define core loops, pacing, reward systems, and difficulty curves.
- Contribute to playtesting and identify usability or visual clarity issues.
- Define engagement metrics, retention rates, and learning outcomes.
- Create production-ready visual assets including characters, props, and UI.
- Translate creative briefs into visual concepts, storyboards, and layouts.
- Own asset workstreams from concept to handoff with organized files.
- Establish and maintain visual systems and reusable templates.
- Improve production quality and team velocity.
