Requirements
- Relevant degree in design or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in Product Design for mobile apps.
- Portfolio of UI and UX projects demonstrating user research, ideation, and measurable results.
- Strong UX writing sensibility.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC).
- Understanding of A/B testing and data-informed improvements.
- Ability to prioritize work based on user impact and development effort.
- Effective communicator and strong cross-functional collaborator.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design vision for BetterSleep’s core app experience in close partnership with Product and Engineering.
- Design high-quality end-to-end user experiences that deliver a consistent, intuitive, and emotionally resonant experience.
- Own and evolve key product surfaces including core navigation, feature discovery, and engagement flows.
- Craft and direct UX copy and microcopy ensuring alignment with brand voice.
- Design for localization to address the 6+ languages supported within the app.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to solve user problems and navigate technical constraints.
- Leverage internal data and experimentation to improve conversion, retention, and engagement.
- Design for personalization and adaptive user flows.
- Participate in user research and competitive analysis.
- Mentor and guide other designers.
