Requirements
- Strong experience across both design and front-end engineering
- Portfolio of shipped interfaces or widely-used components
- Fluency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS
- Comfort working close to API surfaces and developer tooling
- Interest in developer experience
- Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code
- Comfort building from zero
- Ability to partner with product on strategy
Responsibilities
- Own the design of our API and integrations areas end to end
- Partner with product and research to shape strategy for these surfaces
- Design and prototype AI-native patterns for our API
- Shape how integrations feel across the product
- Prototype ideas in code using React
- Trailblaze the Design Engineer function at PandaDoc
- Bring technical perspective into the design process
- Work AI-first in Cursor and Claude Code
