Requirements
- Demonstrated interest in advancing human rights in the MENA region
- University degree or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, political science, international relations or a related field
- Relevant professional experience, ideally in an NGO and/or on human rights issues
- Excellent English and Arabic writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent knowledge and use of all social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Excellent graphic design skills, with proficiency in the use of design tools such as Canva
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential matters with professional discretion
Responsibilities
- Create, schedule and publish social media content across platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Regularly update our website with victims’ profiles, press releases, articles, legal resources and reports
- Assist with the production of communications materials including newsletters, articles, and annual reports
- Support multilingual communications by translating and adapting materials between Arabic and English
- Create visual posts and infographics using graphic design tools
- Coordinate meetings and support the organization of public events
