Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing a design team
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or a corresponding field
  • Understanding of higher-ed recruitment and marketing best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Must reside in the continental US

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand and identity work across institutional rebranding and athletic identity systems.
  • Lead video and photo productions from concept through post-production and on-site direction.
  • Lead end-to-end creative campaign development from concept to final delivery.
  • Research design trends and adopt modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, art directors, and video producers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teammates including media managers and copywriters.
  • Establish and refine team workflows, processes, and production pipelines.
  • Partner with university stakeholders to translate brand positioning into creative strategy.
  • Present concepts and proposals to partner institutions.
  • Leverage data and market insights to inform and optimize creative decisions.
