Requirements
- 7+ years of marketing experience
- 5+ years of experience managing a design team
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a corresponding field
- Understanding of higher-ed recruitment and marketing best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in Figma
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Must reside in the continental US
Responsibilities
- Drive brand and identity work across institutional rebranding and athletic identity systems.
- Lead video and photo productions from concept through post-production and on-site direction.
- Lead end-to-end creative campaign development from concept to final delivery.
- Research design trends and adopt modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, art directors, and video producers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teammates including media managers and copywriters.
- Establish and refine team workflows, processes, and production pipelines.
- Partner with university stakeholders to translate brand positioning into creative strategy.
- Present concepts and proposals to partner institutions.
- Leverage data and market insights to inform and optimize creative decisions.
