Requirements

  • 5+ years in software or platform engineering, with at least 2 years in infrastructure- or tooling-focused roles.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
  • Proficiency designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness, CodeFresh, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Atmos).
  • Solid understanding of AWS services, networking, IAM, and distributed system patterns.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or Java.
  • Proven ability to ship production-grade internal tooling.
  • Fluent AI-native engineer: experience using Claude Code, Copilot, or similar agents; built or deployed AI-powered automation in production.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-team platform initiatives and communicate technical tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using GitHub Actions, Argo Rollouts, or similar tools.
  • Build and maintain internal developer tooling, SDKs, and self-service platform capabilities on top of Kubernetes (EKS) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
  • Own infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Atmos) for shared developer platform resources across multiple AWS accounts.
  • Work with developers and operations engineers to define clear, helpful guidelines for rolling production changes out safely.
  • Track metrics on organization tools like Cortex to validate that our changes are having the intended effect.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on cloud-native development, platform patterns, and AI engineering practices.
  • Contribute to incident response and postmortem processes, including building AI-driven tooling for detection, triage, and prevention.
