- Strong experience in distributed systems or data-intensive systems
- Experience owning system design decisions
- Operational experience (production support, incidents, debugging)
- Experience building systems used by other engineers or data teams
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade distributed systems
- Own technical architecture in your domain (Platform or Data)
- Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of core systems
- Work closely with internal users (engineers or data practitioners)
- Participate in operational ownership (on-call where applicable)
- Lead projects end-to-end from design to production
