Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience with design systems and end-to-end experiences.
- Experience using design thinking and user research to drive decisions.
- Design leadership skills including mentorship and feedback delivery.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working autonomously and proactively.
- Ability to lead workshops or presentations for diverse groups.
- Experience designing for web and native platforms (iOS and Android).
- Knowledge of WCAG compliant and accessible design.
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to contribute to Alley-oop.
- Create and maintain foundational patterns, UI components, and documentation while following accessibility standards.
- Support product designers by creating reusable and adaptable interactive components.
- Anticipate component/style impact and optimize Figma libraries.
- Advocate for Alley-oop adoption across the organization.
- Articulate design decisions and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Shape the design system roadmap and governance model.
