Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing within a software or Agile product development environment.
- Proven ability to write clear, accessible, and user-focused documentation for business or technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts with the ability to simplify and communicate them effectively to non-technical users.
- Experience working with Markdown, HTML, Swagger, or similar markup/documentation tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript, and working knowledge of OpenAPI.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure information hierarchically and logically.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams across different time zones.
- A portfolio demonstrating technical writing work is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality user guides, how-tos, and technical documentation tailored to general business and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and integration teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured content.
- Create user-centric documentation that supports product adoption and enhances the overall user experience.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all written materials, following established style guides and documentation standards.
- Keep pace with product development cycles in an Agile environment, delivering documentation aligned with releases and updates.
- Structure information logically, ensuring content is easy to navigate, understand, and apply in real-world use cases.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to gather technical details and transform them into accessible narratives.
- Maintain and improve existing documentation while identifying gaps and opportunities for content enhancement.
