Requirements
- Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product.
- Product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions.
- Experience working in a team that deals with ambiguity.
- Interest in distributed systems and writing resilient software.
- Experience with strongly-typed languages (e.g., Go, Java, C, Scala).
- Proficiency in modern component-oriented JavaScript applications (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, TypeScript).
- Interest in building performant web experiences and UI design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to solve customer problems.
- Build and support specific product areas within cross-functional squads.
- Design and build performant, accessible web experiences.
- Contribute to building and maintaining resilient distributed systems.
- Use Go for application development.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Work with Cassandra for data storage and Kafka for message queuing.
