Requirements
- 12+ years of full-stack engineering experience
- Strong backend fundamentals
- Production experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable framework
- Comfort in React/TypeScript on the frontend
- Experience working with relational databases at scale (MySQL, Spanner, or similar)
- Track record of working across multiple teams or functions
- Strong communication skills
- High standards for code quality
Responsibilities
- Ship product that drives business impact
- Build and iterate on customer-facing features in our core product
- Work across the stack: backend APIs, data modeling in MySQL and Spanner, and polished frontend experiences
- Partner with product and design to go from idea to shipped feature quickly
- Own your work end-to-end
- Raise the technical bar through code review, architecture input, and constructive feedback
- Establish patterns and conventions for the codebase
- Identify and address reliability, performance, or scalability issues
- Develop engineers through mentorship, pairing, and code reviews
