Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in a data-heavy environment (Analytics, BI, or Data Platforms).
- Proven track record of managing data assets with software product rigor (versioning, SLAs, user feedback).
- Strong SQL proficiency for querying and independent analysis.
- Experience in dashboard design and user interaction with complex information.
- Conceptual knowledge of the modern data stack (dbt, Snowflake, Reverse ETL).
- Familiarity with Data Contracts or schemas to manage dependencies.
- Experience collaborating with application PMs to influence upstream system design.
- Demonstrated ability to drive data initiatives as a core business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional lead for the Analytics Engineering squad; manage the backlog, lead sprint ceremonies, and ensure the team is focused on high-leverage modeling work.
- Own the requirement development for analytics layers, ensuring dbt models and Snowflake structures are curated as products with high standards.
- Drive the creation and maintenance of consistent data definitions across the company.
- Perform and coordinate QA on new data models and reports to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct ad-hoc exploratory analysis to validate assumptions and investigate discrepancies.
- Lead the design, UX, and strategy for internal and external reporting suites.
- Oversee the integration of analytics data back into business systems via Data Contracts.
- Collaborate across product squads to influence upstream system design for robust downstream analytics.
