Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic payments, AR operations, or financial operations in a US-based environment.
- 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience with vendor portals (Ariba, Coupa, Bill.com).
- Hands-on experience with payment process vendors (Stripe, Visa, Zuora, ACH).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Working knowledge of data reporting tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to manage high volume, time-sensitive workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Make operational decisions regarding payment portals to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Drive adoption of autopay and internal portals to reduce payment friction.
- Oversee decline recovery, chargeback resolution, and payment monitoring across vendor platforms.
- Serve as primary liaison for payment vendors like Visa, Stripe, and banking platforms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic payment issues.
- Assess processes for inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain payment controls and monitor risk indicators.
- Build reporting tools to track payment performance and provide strategic insights.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team focused on electronic payment workflows.
