Responsibilities
- Identifies and develops new leads and opportunities, including entry into new markets, and hands off qualified opportunities to Outside Sales once prospects reach defined opportunity criteria.
- Utilizes all available sales prospecting tools, systems, and resources to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Maintains a strong focus on assigned automotive and non-automotive market segments to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Creates, maintains, and communicates sales activity and customer development reports.
- Follows the sales playbook from initial prospecting through opportunity qualification.
- Works with assigned company accounts to develop relationships, identify needs, and support ongoing sales efforts.
- Enters all customer interactions into the CRM system throughout the day.
- Maintains and updates the company sales database to support sales initiatives and data integrity.
- Prepares customer product expectations and pricing quotations in coordination with internal teams as needed.
- Collaborates with Customer Service to improve back-office processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
