Requirements
- 7+ years SAP BW/4HANA implementation experience
- Strong functional understanding of BW architecture and data flows
- Technical BW development skills (DataSources, transformations, InfoProviders)
- BW DataSource creation and maintenance
- HANA-optimized InfoProviders and composite providers
- BW Query and Analysis for Office (optional but preferred)
- Experience with BW-HANA integration and HANA-optimized models
- Knowledge of delta extraction mechanisms and error handling
- Previous BW-to-cloud migration experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP BW data warehouse architectures and data models
- Develop ETL processes using BW DataSources, transformations, and InfoProviders
- Create and optimize BW queries, reports, and analytical applications
- Create complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and table functions
- Configure delta extraction mechanisms and process chains for automated data loading
- Design and develop SAP HANA calculation views and analytical models
- Support BW-HANA integration and migration to HANA-optimized objects
- Develop technical documentation and data mapping specifications
- Provide performance tuning and optimization recommendations
