Job Details

10+ years with scoping automated scientific workflow-based solutions, designing enterprise-grade SaaS or hybrid architectures.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or scientific field.
Advanced understanding of integration patterns, APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
Experience with data platforms (Databricks) and integration tools (Apache NiFi).
Familiarity with lab automation connectivity standards and protocols (SiLA2, LADS, OPC-UA).
Experience integrating complex application landscapes (ELN, LIMS, SDMS, PLM, ERP, MES, instrument data systems).
Experience working with system integrators or technology partners in enterprise delivery models.
Ability to explain complex architectural decisions to scientific, IT, and operational audiences.

Act as the design authority for Luma-based customer solutions, including end-to-end lab orchestration architectures.
Define logical and physical architectures covering applications, data, integrations, identity, environments, and operations.
Architect solutions that bridge the digital and physical lab.
Shape functional requirements in collaboration with Scientific Architect and Application Scientists.
Design integration approaches using technologies such as Apache NiFi, APIs, batch pipelines, and event-driven patterns.
Architect solutions leveraging Databricks for aggregation and analysis of instrument and experimental data.
Act as senior technical advisor to customers including IT leadership and enterprise architects.
Provide architectural guidance to other Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Delivery Partners.
Act as the architectural authority for partner-led implementations of the Dotmatics Luma platform.
