Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a communications role, either within agencies or within high-growth technology companies.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with key reporters at top tier publications.
- Experience identifying and working with new and non-traditional forms of media (e.g., research journals, engineering podcasts).
- Ability to synthesize and translate complex technical information to a mass audience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects quickly and simultaneously with minimal oversight.
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update communications activity trackers, editorial calendars and internal reporting dashboards.
- Prepare executive briefing materials, reporter backgrounders and other supporting documents.
- Manage awards and speaking programs, including opportunities for executives.
- Support Communications, Marketing and Brand teams on company-owned events.
- Pitch and secure media opportunities for executives and spokespeople.
- Draft and own announcements including product or feature launches.
- Identify storytelling opportunities by working with Research, Engineering, Product and Marketing teams.
