Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience.
  • 4+ years of management experience in higher education or high-volume customer service.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams in higher education.
  • 2+ years of experience using enterprise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics).
  • In-depth understanding of technology industry career requirements and certifications.
  • Highly proficient in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
  • Expert in resume writing and utilizing professional networking sites like LinkedIn.
  • Strong presentation, public speaking, and writing skills.
  • Technical mindset comfortable with system automation and new software deployment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Career Services staff.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on Career Services KPIs.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with ACCET and other federal, state, and institutional reporting requirements.
  • Oversee career preparation services including resume development, interview preparation, and career coaching.
  • Analyze student data to identify trends and improve placement and retention rates.
  • Collaborate with employer and industry partners to align opportunities for graduates.
  • Serve as the institutional lead for student career development initiatives.
