- 5 years of managerial experience leading cross-functional teams.
- 5 years of experience in issue-based or political advocacy.
- Proficiency in managing email, SMS (shortcode/10dlc), and web channels.
- Experience with tools like ActionKit, Action Network, Mobile Commons, Strive/Ascend, Spoke, Prompt.io, or Wordpress.
- Strong ability to build narrative-driven communication strategies.
- Experience with data tracking and performance metrics for digital communications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, develop, and execute comprehensive and data-driven digital communication strategies across email, SMS, and web channels.
- Build cross-channel member communication arcs that are timely, resonant, relevant, and consistent with MoveOn’s brand.
- Establish and enforce best practices for cross-channel collaboration.
- Implement and manage robust tracking systems to discover and build key membership insights.
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights to leadership.
- Represent MoveOn in broader movement convenings.
- Manage a team of email, mobile, and web channel strategists.
- Oversee cross-organizational processes for evaluating the impact of digital strategies.
